FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 @ 9:00PM

The first Republican debate of the 2016 presidential election season Thursday night will be an unusual mix of politics, policy and personalities. Billionaire candidate Donald Trump will be center stage flanked by nine rivals: Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie and John Kasich.

During the two-hour, nationally televised forum in Cleveland, the candidates can expect questions on key domestic and foreign policy issues like immigration reform, the economy and the Iran nuclear deal. By the end of the night the big questions might well be whether there was a potential turning point for any of the middle-tier candidates to break out from the pack?
