A dramatic dance film shot on location in Northern France about soldiers trying to maintain their humanity amidst the brutality of World War I, choreographed by Iván Pérez with a score by Keaton Henson, directed by Michael Nunn and William Trevitt.

The narrative follows a young solider and his squadron’s experience of basic training, combat, and ultimately, the destruction of modern warfare. The film is shot without words, instead using the locations and carefully choreographed dance to depict the devastation of a continent. DEAD RECKONING

WAR & JUSTICE

THE GENERAL’S GHOST

TUESDAY, MARCH 28 @ 9:00PM

An astonishing new three-part series, Dead Reckoning, reveals that the model of justice ingeniously conceived by the Allies in the wake of the Second World War has evolved into a standard by which all conflicts are judged. However, many decades and miles separate conflicts and however inhumane the underlying crimes, all have been prosecuted according to protocols that the Allies devised for three unique situations: the determination of command responsibility; the pursuit of war criminals; and the accumulation of evidence and testimony at crime scenes. This film explores the origins of the Allied response to these unique situations, along with transformative conflicts and atrocities that have, for seventy years, shaped conceptions of war and peace.
