The big prize for Democrats and Republicans -– winning control of the Senate and in turn the ability to shape the legislative agenda in 2015 and beyond. There are 36 Senate seats up for grabs but polls show winning the majority may come down to ten competitive races in Colorado, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Georgia, Alaska, Kentucky and Iowa.
