A bipartisan group of senators has struck a deal that would include deportation protection for hundreds of thousands of young immigrants known as “Dreamers” who were brought to the country illegally.  It is not clear whether there is support from the rest of the chamber or the more conservative House, and the White House has yet to sign on.
