Life is passion, Clémence says, as she beguiles several male staffers, and encourages the women of the Paradise to follow their own calling. Even Moray doesn’t seem immune to her charms. As fireworks light up the sky and enchant passersby, a shadowy figure from the past returns with no explanation. Miss Audrey, torn between new ideas and old-world ways, faces a life-altering decision. And as Katherine, Tom and Moray jostle for power, it’s unclear where allegiances lie, and exactly who will direct the future of the Paradise.

In The Paradise season one’s thrilling climax, John Moray, proprietor of The Paradise, gave up his wealthy bride-to-be on the brink of the altar to fall into the arms of his heart’s desire — his lowly sales assistant Denise. It’s a beautifully improbable match, and The Paradise, Season 2, tells what happens next.

Moray and his “little champion,” Denise, find true love a very bumpy ride indeed, as Katherine and her new husband scheme to wreck their lives. Joanna Vanderham stars as Denise, with Emun Elliott as Moray, Elaine Cassidy as Katherine, and Ben Daniels as Katherine’s moody, malevolent spouse.

THE HISPANIC HERITAGE AWARDS
