Internationally-acclaimed chef and food ambassador Lidia Bastianich pays homage to the men and women of our military and the truly life-saving sacrifices they make daily for our freedom. Lidia meets seven veterans, who share their incredibly inspiring stories. Watch, as Lidia delves into their unique cultures, and the food traditions which remained with them during the most challenging moments overseas. Holiday for Heroes culminates in a celebratory dinner at Naval Station Norfolk, where Lidia cooks for 250 active duty Navy troops aboard the USS George Washington.

JOSHUA BELL’S SEASONS OF CUBA

In the spring of 2016, a delegation of performing artists embarked on a groundbreaking adventure – to the shores of Cuba. One of the trip’s ambassadors was the celebrated violinist Joshua Bell. Now Bell wants to recreate the magic of that cultural encounter for people here in the U.S. He’ll be joined by the magnificent Chamber Orchestra of Havana, singer-songwriter Dave Matthews, and other special guests.
