Served Like a Girl is a powerful and poignant look at a group of diverse female veterans as they transition from active duty to civilian life after serving tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Struggling with PTSD, homelessness, broken families, serious illness, physical injuries, and military sexual abuse, these inspiring women find ways to adapt to the challenges they face through participation in the “Ms. Veteran America” competition.

LOOKING FOR LIFE ON MARS

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16 @ 10:00PM

Follow along as NASA launches the Mars 2020 Mission, perhaps the most ambitious hunt yet for signs of ancient life on Mars. In February 2021, the spacecraft will blaze into the Martian atmosphere at some 12,000 miles per hour and attempt to lower the Perseverance Rover into the rocky Jezero Crater, home to a dried-up river delta scientists think could have harbored life.

Kevin O’Connor watches as the outdoor kitchen with pizza oven arrives and is assembled. Tom Silva meets the flooring installer who’s laying down engineered flooring in a herringbone pattern. Designer Kristen Martone works with the homeowner on the bathroom finishes. Jenn Nawada sorts through all the plants that have been delivered and Kevin sees an automatic cover going on top of the new pool.

Premiering in 1968, SOUL! was the first nationally broadcast all-Black variety show on public television, merging artists from the margins with post-Civil Rights Black radical thought. Mr. SOUL! delves into this critical moment in television history, as well as profiling Ellis Haizlip, the man who guided it, through participants’ recollections and archival footage, highlighting a turning point in representation whose impact continues to resonate to this day. A QUEEN ANNE REVIVAL

The once rotting Seaside Victorian Cottage is restored to its original beauty under the guidelines of the Historic Commission. A new addition matches the existing architectural details. New hardscape and landscape anchor it to the corner lot.
